Global Customs Gateway ready for Canada Reporting

CHAMP Cargosystems is now ready to serve the air cargo community operating to Canada with the launch of the Global Custom Gateway. The Global Customs Gateway provides complete automated reporting of inbound and transit air cargo as required by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). The CHAMP Cargosystems Global Customs Gateway, which has been certified by the CBSA, allows airlines, freight forwarders, ground handling agents and other parties to submit cargo information in a number of the standard message formats in use today. The Global Customs Gateway manages the information provided in these messages and submits these data in a timely manner using CBSA's specific EDIFACT standard messages. When the standard messages are not sufficient the Gateway offers a Web interface that allows manual data entry. This same interface can be used to ensure the data is complete and correct, to monitor the exchange with CBSA and to review the chronology of the record. The goal of the Global Customs Gateway is to facilitate accurate and timely reporting to customs with the lowest impact to your current systems and procedures.
